The clients came to Holly Conlan and Gabriela Eisenhart of Wake + Loom through word of mouth. “We’ve done a lot of work in Atlanta so it’s nice to be working here in LA,” says Conlan, the LA-based half of the designing duo. The condo their clients had purchased, a one-bedroom in West Hollywood, had a balcony overlooking a tree-lined street. “They were looking for a mix of local vintage and new, a bit mid-century and minimal,” Conlan explains. The deer heads were found at a jumble shop near Koreatown. The console table under the TV was found at the Melrose Trading Post, a small flea market that takes place on Sundays at the corner of Fairfax and Melrose Avenues in Los Angeles.
